"Rote Flora" in Hamburg
Gerade rein gekommen die Meldung über einen neuen Underground Spot in Hamburg: ins Leben gerufen und voll Unterstützt von Skateshop 5fiveFeet Owner Georg und Matt Grabowski wird gerade nach allerfeinster Anarchomanier ein Skatepark im Herzen der Hansestadt gebaut. Im Garten des besetzten Haus "Rote Flora" in Altona. Die kennt hier jeder und bald wird hier auch jeder skaten! Zwischen den Bauphasen wird auch schon heftig gerippt. Wahrscheinlich entsteht hier quasi das neue "Hamburgside". In diesem Zusammenhang gibt es auch einen Spendenaufruf an alle Sympathisanten! Weil Geld für Material bis jetzt nur aus freiwilligen Spenden geflossen ist würden sich Matt und Georg über weitere vielzählige Zuschüsse freuen um das Ding richtig fett auszubauen. Ich finde solche Guirilia Projekte sowieso Hammer. Dieses verdammte rumgezerre mit Städten um Geld, Plätze und alle möglichen Speed inline Skater die auf einmal auch Ihre Portion ab haben wollen. Zum Kotzen!
Man sollte wieder die Initiative und die Schaufel selber in die Hand nehmen und überall trannys hin zimmern. Ein Brückenpfeiler, ein bisschen Beton, was braucht es denn mehr? Damit kriegt man Skateboarding auch wieder mehr Underground. Beispiel Projekte gibts ja auch schon genug: Burnside (http://www.dreamlandskateparks.com/burnside/index.html), oder Black Cross Bowl Basel (http://www.blackcrossbowl.blogspot.com/).

Good to hear from your spots. I know you guys are building crazy shit (we met back in Sept05 in Marseille) I am just thinking about Holenite ect.

Hi everyone, just wanted to post a comment and say that me and some friends at the french german boarder are just getting bored of our shitty skate parks. So we started the construction of our first concrete quarterpipe, which should be followed by a lot of other stuff to enhance the quality of the park. Even if videos like strongest of the strange brought some inspiration, i wanted to know if there were some websites giving advices concerning what to do/not to do. learning by doing is fun but if major mistakes could be avoided it would be nice too.
Oh yes, i also forgot to say the quarterpipe only took 4days to be skateable, with 3persons working on it, the shittiest organisation ever and a total cost of 40euros. So go and build your own park instead of complaining all the time... why not this afternoon?
